The dog is an animal of much faster growth than the child. Some, like pinscher come into the world with 200 g, weighed 2 kg at 8 months and a pastor of 400 g at birth weighed 20 to 25 kg by the year. As a child at birth weighs about 3kg and weighs 10 kg per year. Puppies become adults at about 8 months, so at this age he should seek the means to be well-formed bones and muscles. The two elements are essential minerals and proteins. Minerals are primarily calcium and phosphorus.

The bread contains almost nothing, you increase the portion of phosphorus if they are given bread, but it still does not best satisfy the needs of small breed puppy. Rice and pastas also contain very little and even less meat. The only mineral foods include milk (1.25 g of calcium and 800 g of phosphorus per liter) and bone (10-20% by weight). With respect to the bones, should not be too harsh and should not have splinters to swallow without being seen. Must exclude the bones of rabbit, lamb and all the bones of ribs and chicken, except the shell. Also, puppies need some vitamins, especially A and D, but they fail to produce the right if necessary mineral elements are not enough help their fixation on the bones, but do nothing when there are no elements that set. Vitamins A and D are found in the liver and egg yolk and vitamin A in raw carrots.

Failing that can be given by medicine, but, given its concentration, we must be careful not to abuse. Excess of vitamins does not improve anything and can even cause rickets. Must not exceed the dose of three to ten drops of the essential commercial preparations. A vitamin C, which is essential for good development of the skeleton of the dog. It is found in raw vegetables, or, better yet, orange juice or lemon to be incorporated once a week to pasta. If such care is not they may well be that a puppy will eat their droppings or who, not bones, bite the most diverse objects or eat the grass of the garden. Protein is the second element, are those that help the puppy to develop his muscles and organs and in parallel develop their soft tissues. In the bread, pasta and rice there is very little protein, the oat meal is much higher especially if cooked or hot water swells The two most important sources of protein are also milk (40 g liter) and meat (20-30 g p100 g). The meat should not be too fat. The better the beef or lamb, pork, much more fat, less valuable and therefore unwise. It may be a second piece of meat quality as more or less tasty or more or less tender, the meat is always the same food value. If you do not want to get complicated preparing food, food prepared there with all the necessary nutritional value, however, it is good occasionally reward your dog with something different.
